Jasmin’s two homes

Are there hedgehogs there? That’s what Jasmin wants to know from Papa in their video chat. He has left Finland, where he once came as a refugee, and returned to Somalia. Jasmin and her siblings follow. Her father’s homeland used to be no more than a phantasm to her, but now it is real, with its own colours, smells, and tastes. And nobody asks anymore where she’s “really” from.
