Join the
Children's and Youth Parliament
of the SUPERKUNSTFESTIVAL 2026!

Are you between 8 and 18 years old and do you want to have your say and contribute your ideas? Then the KIJUPA is the right place for you!

What is the KIJUPA?

The KIJUPA is a place for children and young people who are curious, want to ask questions, and are keen to actively participate in shaping the SUPERKUNSTFESTIVAL. At KIJUPA, you'll meet other children and young people with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and stories. Together, you'll go behind the scenes of the SUPERKUNSTFESTIVAL, talk to people from the cultural and political spheres, and develop your own ideas.

Because: The world of tomorrow begins with your ideas – and the SUPERKUNSTFESTIVAL is listening to you!

This is what you can expect at KIJUPA:

The KIJUPA meets once a month.

We

  • discuss topics that concern you
  • develop ideas for the SUPERKUNSTFESTIVAL
  • implement our own projects
  • learn how a festival works
  • create a space just for young voices

This leaves plenty of room for creativity, discussion, and exchange.

The KIJUPA made its debut at the SUPERKUNSTFESTIVAL 2025. Of course, KIJUPA will also be active at the SUPERKUNSTFESTIVAL 2026.

The KIJUPA is constantly evolving – feel free to join us!

You can apply for the KIJUPA if you:

  • are between 8 and 18 years old
  • have time from June 12th, 2026 to June 14th, 2026.
  • are willing to participate in the KIJUPA meetings once a month.

You can find the application questionnaire below.

KIJUPA will be held in German. You will be accompanied by our festival team, who will support you and take your opinion seriously.

To the parents:

Dear Parents,

it's great that your child is interested in the KIJUPA of the SUPERKUNSTFESTIVAL!

This is important to us:

  • Participants should be able to attend the monthly meetings regularly and be present on all festival days.
  • Participants will be accompanied by an experienced festival team throughout the entire project. The meetings are designed to be child-friendly and offer space for exchange, creativity, and participation.
  • The festival team accompanying KIJUPA cannot provide medical or special education support. If children and young people require such support, this must be arranged by their parents.
  • Places are limited.
  • SUPERKUNSTFESTIVAL is under no obligation to accept any participants.
  • The KIJUPA is free of charge.
  • Unfortunately, the SUPERKUNSTFESTIVAL cannot provide catering and accommodation for the children and young people.
  • This project is specifically designed for the children and young people themselves. To give them their own space for development, discussion, and creative expression, we kindly ask parents to remain in the background during the meetings. Of course, we are always available and will keep you informed about everything important
  • At the end of the questionnaire, you must confirm the consent and data protection declaration.

If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact us. Our email address is: kijupa@superkunstfestival.de.
